Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairperson David Schmidt at 4:10 p.m.

Approval of Minutes: (no quorum).
Financial Report: - Becky O’Connor gave a brief review of the monthly financial report. Ms. O’Connor reported a total income of $4,336 was received with a net of $2,335.
Moshi Committee: -
Safari Dinner - Mr. Ngozi Mensah and Ms. Bonnie Stelzer reported the Tanzania Committee is working on the Safari Dinner which will be held on April 9th at the Delray Beach Municipal Golf Club. Mr. Mensah is requesting a mailing list for the Safari Dinner so invitations can be mailed out to individuals. Ms. Stelzer more interest from individuals to be involved with the Moshi Committee.
ICMA Grant Application - Chairperson Schmidt reported the ICMA grant application is being reviewed.
Nani Nani Special Event - Mr. Mensah advised the Nani Nani special event is tabled.
Sister Cities Africa Conference - Chairperson Schmidt reported that Mr. Mensah expressed interest in attending the Sister Cities Africa Conference. Chairperson Schmidt will request additional information from Sister Cities Int’l on this conference.
Tourist Program no update

Miyazu Committee: -
Hatsume - Chairperson Schmidt thanked everyone who participated in the Hatsume event at Morikami Park. The event grossed $3,745 with an approx. net of $1,500.
Student Exchange - Ms. Nancy King reported the students are meeting on a weekly basis with Tony Durante to learn more about the Japanese culture. The students are very excited about the Japanese culture.
Special Committee Reports: -
Young Artist Contest Ms. King reported that art for the Young Artist program is due on March 5, 2005. The Young Artist reception will be held April 25th at Old School Square.
President’s Report No report.
Non-Agenda Items Chairperson Schmidt is working on securing a parking lot for the Delray Affair for a fund-raising project. He is requesting volunteers to help with this fund-raising project.
Sister Cities Award Application Chairperson Schmidt would like to submit Jimmy Mihori this year for an award. The consensus of the Board is to submit Mr. Mihori for the Sister Cities Award and pay the $30.00 application fee.
Chairperson Schmidt is encouraging members to pay their dues for membership for this fiscal year.
