at the Tropics Café
Palm Beach Zoo
April 17th, 2009
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Your evening will be spent as guests of the Tanzanian Committee of Sister Cities of Delray Beach, Inc. on the tropical grounds of the Palm Beach Zoo, where you can explore freely as the Big Cats come out to feed.

The dress for the evening is casual safari khakis, daishikis or your favorite African fashions. Arrive by 6:30 in your own vehicle or take the Safari Bus, and leave the driving to us.

You will enter the grounds amidst the sounds of the mbira, masterfully played by Jomo. Ride the merry-go-round and see the live animal exhibits.

Showcasing the evening will be DYMiN, with music for listening and dancing. The Ballet Brika dance troupe and drummers will perform for you at the Tropics Café by Bryan Lake, where you will indulge in a ‘Wildebeast Roast’ for your evening meal.
