Mheshimiwa Mwenyekiti,

I am pleased to irform you that we arrived home safely on 30 April 2002 at 08:15 pm. The flight back was not as tiresome as when we came because we had minimal waiting times at Detroit and Amsterdam. However, as discussed with some of you during the visit, the Miami-Johannesburg-Dar-Kilimanjaro route seems shorter.

On behalf of His Worship Mayor Lucas S. Tarimo, the other members of the delegation and on my own behalf, I am very delighted to extend our heartfelt appreciation of the manner you handled our delegation. Indeed, the programme was both interesting and exhaustive and It went a long way in furthering our mutual relationship. It was such a wonderful opportunity being in the company of each of you individually and as a group. You are indeed such a friendly people and nation.

A report has already been submitted to the Municipal Director indicating the various potential avenues for promoting cultural understanding and stimulating economic development. Indeed, with the tri-partite agreement among Delray Beach, Miyazu and Moshi, the residents of our three cities and nations have a stake to play in enhancing international trade and peace.

Our stay in Delray Beach was so special that it will remain indelible in our memories and the history of our cities. Thank you so much for your unparalleled hospitality.

Looking forward to the immediate exploitation of the identified potentials.

Yours sincerely,
Lameck M. Masembejo
